In the category of yes, I am a blind fan, and I'm being literal with that descriptor. Can somebody clue me in as to what two particular ML characters look like? I'd click on the fandom wiki page for one of them, but that page carries a gigantic flippin' spoiler warning at the top, and I do N-O-T want to step into a nest of spoilers! Definitely not before I finish this AU, because I've got a particular power set and mode, as well as personalities in mind, and I have little doubt it'll all get thoroughly jossed either if I'm spoiled or when I catch up on canon. Both, really. So!

I know Duusu is blue and feathery, with a masculine peafowl tail. That's about all I know! Someone said pink eyes, as in pink irises, in a fic the other day; is that true? Basically, what's that kwami look like?

Also, Émilie is a blonde, I believe? Is it visible in canon if she's taller, shorter, slim like Adrian, anything? I've been picturing her as thinner but not at all unhealthy, and golden blonde rather than silvery or straw.

And, while I think of it, is Gabriel also fair in coloration? Does Adrian get his green eyes from him, or from his mother, or potentially from both of them? Or do we know?

Asking in the name of not frakking up details in fiction, wheeeee!

I am not in this fandom but based on quick Googling of fan art:

Duusu has: blue skin; a rounded body with proportions roughly similar to a human toddler or a toy rabbit; small forepaws, small hindpaws, and a big plumey tail that is, indeed, peacock-like with the large whorl of an 'eye' pattern near the end of each plume; no visible hair or pelt; three antenna in a crest along the top of the head; large jewel-like eyes that are variously shown as blue, peuple, pink, or yellow; a small rounded matching gem in the 'third eye' position; and an overall fey or cutesy appearance.

Emilie has: light blond hair, light skin, blueish-green eyes, and an overall slender, tall, and conventionally European attractive female appearance.

Adrian strongly resembles his mother, with a more chiseled and masculine look; is tall and slender but not skinny; has more gold-tone hair and more green in the eyes, and is generally a bit more color-saturated and solid-appearing than Emilie.

Gabriel has: very light hair on the line between graying light brown and bleached blonde, in an upswept haircut that looks high-maintenance; a long, bony face; large glasses; dark bluish-hazel eyes.

Again, this is based on top fan-art results, so it's fanon, not necesaarily canon, and a selective and arbitrary view of fanon at that. Corrections welcome!

Émilie having a more ethereal quality to her rather fits canon, and Adrian resembling his mother physically is very suitable; it's flat-out stated in episodes that he shares some important personality traits with her as well. :) And Gabriel's hair sounds as high maintenance as he is! :P

In canon we have not seen Duusu, except for a fraction of a second in the second opening sequence. I'm not saying you're wrong, mind...

As for Emilie:

Physical appearance
Based on pictures, Emilie is a fair-skinned woman with blond hair which she keeps in a side ponytail and green eyes. She also has thin lips, a small nose, a pointy chin, thin eyebrows, and upturned eyes.

Civilian attire
In many of the most recent pictures of her as an adult, Emilie wears a black blouse with a light pink jacket worn over it. On the coat, a brooch shaped like a flower with five petals with a pearl in the center can be seen. As seen in concept art, she also wears light pink business pants and black high heel shoes.

However, as a teenager, from what is shown on Adrien's desktop computer, she is shown to wear an ocean blue dress.

Which is basically to say you're right. Except "on the taller side" may be more accurate for Emilie than "tall"; our only useful gauge of her height relative to anyone else is a painting seen in "Santa Claws" of all three Agrestes with both adults standing, in which the top of Emilie's head is level with Gabriel's nose. (He definitely is tall, though.)

Eeeee thank you! I hadn't a clue about Émilie's hairstyle or clothes, and that all matters to background details in this AU of mine. I was imagining her with her hair down, whoops! I have an easier time picturing her in that ocean blue dress than in business attire, but that probably has more to do with the whimsically feminine Émilie in my head than anything.

I immediately got hit with the headcanon that the described flower brooch was a gift from Gabriel quite a bit later on in their acquaintance, where the *other* certain brooch was very much not--ahem. But I've already gone there! XD

Having found a still of the S2–3 opening sequence, by which I mean someone gifed it and when I saw it on Tumblr I started screenshotting my tablet till I got somewhere useful: Duusu is accurately described here. Their tail feather 'eyes' are a color in the magenta-fuchsia range with black centers; the forehead dot is the same pink.

I'm pretty sure there's wings, but if so they're much smaller than Nooroo's. I'm unsure because the deal with this bit of the sequence is, seven vertical stripes, red orange yellow green blue purple very-pale-gray, each stripe with the corresponding Miraculous wielder in silhouette (the gray is presumably so Chat Noir can be distinguished from the color stripe), and each of those seven kwamis flies up along the stripe. While Duusu is in frame, I'm seeing a lot less of Mayura's silhouette than I'd expect, which means the bits I think are wings are against a similar blue background, not even partially against Mayura's silhouette, so the contrast is crap.

Oooooh! I initially imagined Duusu with wings very like

ysabetwordsmith's Steamsmith series's clockwork dragons, distinctly wide but proportionate, only Duusu's would be fully feathered where the dragons' wings are featherless. I've been doing some careful editing around references to wings specifically existing or not existing in fic, until I get episode confirmation one way or the other... but now I'm tempted to write them definitely in all over again!

And you just *know* I have all kinds of theories about the limited space Duusu and Mayura share in frame... XD XD

Does Tikki have wings? Reading her description suggests not, but my mental image of her included beetle wings, complete with the expected wingcovers, until that point.

I don't see that Tikki has wings. That said, RL ladybugs do have the wing cover things, so while I'm not sure where Tikki might hide wings, honestly I'm saying insufficient data.

Ah shaff it! I've been saying he or they all along, aaaaand then I rewatched 'Sandboy' and heard a definite female pronoun used. Now I get wiki confirmation that Duusu is *usually* she... Weeeeell! The end result is me getting creative with kwami views on gender in this AU I'm working on.
