warm fuzzy of the day :)
Vee vaaaaant to giiiive your bloooood to zee people who need it! :D Blood donation complete! Molly at the east side blood center, thank you for clearly knowing *exactly* what you're doing, despite having only started in April! Thank God for my iron being high enough to pass muster, and thank my folks for waiting around so I didn't have to call a cab back downtown after everything was over.
33 and counting. :d
In other news, I bit the bullet and ordered a new computer. This one's served me well for something like seven years, and it's really starting to show it; cracked case missing its top left corner, broken left hand hinge, some odd errors that really do mean it's about time. I feel a little guilty that this one never told me its name, or had its perfect name leap out at me. Hopefully the next one is fairly quickly named.

A half century of donations counts for an immeasurable amount, you know. :) Thank you, for that.

We've had: Weed-whacker, (Named for the weird hum the drive always made), Reyokko (Because we couldn't spell Japanese words back then, but that was clearly her name), Despereaux (Tiny blue netbook named after a mouse), Umlaut von Vaiobraten (Second-hand computer, came to us already named, with name engraved on the top frame of the screen), Chance: (Refurbed second-hand Mac desktop), and Bonbon (Our mom named her.)
And before that, our mom's computer's name was Turdle, because so slow and always a turd. It's WinME. Not the computer's fault.
Current phone is named Sexy. (Doctor Who reference FTW), previous phone was Legend, and various iPods have been named over the years.

My previous laptop, still around and usable as a slow but functional backup, is Quark, he of DS9 fame, because it's cantankerous and occasionally exasperating as heck, but always comes through in the end. Current phone hasn't got a name, no idea why. My ooooold Braille N Speak, way back in middle and high school days, was Jerry, but that was back before the idea of naming electronics had traction with me, so both usage and reasoning were patchy.

Oh Braille N Speaks. I had one too. XD
Theofania is a great laptop name.

I think the old Braille N Speak is around my parents' place somewhere. No idea if it still works, pretty sure it's iffy if so, but brother did it ever get use in its day!
