Just to clarify something.
Hot chocolate and a sandwich heavy on the garlic and ranch dressing at one in the morning=wonderful
spilling the hot chocolate all down my gods damned sleeve and the rest of me=*not* so wonderful!
getting it in my hair after I've just showered=grrr crummy
At least the dog didn't eat my sandwich while I was down the hall washing up. That's one plus for the day, that and the B *gasp* wow! I got on that huge paper for Dr. Shwartz. Granted the decent grade was overshadowed somewhat by her reaction to my writing style--apparently it needs work? ouch. And her continually referring to illegal immigrants as illegal aliens. From where, may I ask? Venus? I hear there's been a mass exodus from Neptune lately, apparently some of those *aliens* couldn't take the ice storms. Grrr! she made it sound like we were having trouble with some kind of insect infestation, not knee-deep in concern for human welfare. Again, grrr. I swear she sounded like she was three steps from dancing with a gods damned dalek or something. Needless to say Mandy and I picked apart those bits of the lecture once we were safely in her car. and we've decided that if there's a pro-immigrants demonstration in the area in the next few weeks, we're going to join it. Madison, Milwaukee, chicago, whichever. Educational experience and support of the issues, how better to spend a day? Maybe she'll take it as a valid excuse for missing class--yeah, right. :)

and is it any wonder I'm ranting on about my professors' treatment of social issues while I'm listening to this song? My general irritation spills over into a protest! and now I'm going to have dreams again... damn. Better than the ones I suspect I'd originally have had though... I'd sooner dream about a union of field workers than... well yeah. shushing up now.
