I'm still a bit bemused and dismayed over here. The space itself is similar to the apartment I saw, but there's an internal wall that's in an awkward as frak place and makes it a different setup. I figured it was a jerk move, possibly unintentionally on the part of someone over there. Illegality never entered my mind.
