Heh in my house, it was more than a threat. lol I had the enjoyment of using it on my big brother more than once. I'm getting a chuckle from this one. One thing:your sentence:
“that was *so* worth getting’ up at seven-thirty on a Saturday for.”
You end the sentence in the word for. Makes the grammar alarms go off in my head, though I suppose it's possible that's how your char talks. Just thought I'd point it out.
