darn muses

Ugh. I've got a TNG fic rattling about in my head thanks to watching Transfigurations earlier today, and if I don't get it written soon I'm going to be up all night with two engineer muses plaguing me! Half-formed silver and gold stories after two *long* days do not a well-rested chanter make. Although I have to admit a scene in one of someone else's stories did give me a smidgen of inspiration... ugh, though. Ugh. I wish I could just write the damn thing and get to bed!
